National Account Manager – Major Distributors

Are you a commercially astute account manager with deep experience in foodservice, wholesale and distributor channels? This is a rare opportunity to join one of Australia’s fastest-growing protein suppliers in a newly created National Account Manager role.
My client is a vertically integrated leader in high-quality protein products, supplying both the retail and foodservice sectors nationally. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, the business has recently won multiple industry awards and is continuing to expand across new markets and product categories.
This is a key appointment designed to support the recent launch of a new brand and will take ownership of the relationship with three of the business’s most strategic national accounts: PFD, Countrywide and NAFDA.
The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and growing national account relationships across PFD, Countrywide and NAFDA
- Executing strategic plans to drive growth, increase brand presence and deliver on revenue targets
- Working closely with serveral teams and business units, crossfunctionally, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Providing insight into category trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity
- Supporting the rollout of the company’s newly launched foodservice brand
About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a National Account Manager role with major foodservice distributors
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of managing large, complex accounts
- The ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
- Experience launching or growing branded products into the foodservice sector will be highly regarded
- A genuine interest in sustainability and working for a purpose-led business
