Description
The Account Manager is responsible for:
- Managing and strengthening relationships with key accounts to achieve sales objectives.
- Developing and delivering engaging training programs for retail floor staff.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities (independent or retail chains)
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise stock levels, recommend product replacements, and ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Analyse market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes and account performance.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
Profile
The successful Account Manager should have:
- Proven experience in account management, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
- Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to deliver impactful training across diverse audiences
- A customer-focused mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver's licence for travel to sites as required.
