Richmond Wellbeing

Be part of something bigger. Lead programs that transform lives.
At Richmind WA, we believe that it takes courage — to walk alongside people through recovery, to reimagine what’s possible, and to lead systems change in mental health. We’re looking for a compassionate, strategic, and experienced leader to take on the role of Senior Manager, Outreach and Specialised Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and values-led organisation where your leadership will directly influence outcomes for people with complex and enduring mental health needs.
If you’re someone who thrives on complexity, leads with heart, and wants to be part of something genuinely transformational — this is your moment.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll oversee and support a range of community-based programs delivering critical support to people with complex and enduring mental health needs, including:
- MH Connext
- Hearing Voices Network (HVN)
- PaRK Service
- Albany Fellowship House – Community Hub
You’ll work closely with program leads, consumers, carers, funders and sector partners to strengthen outcomes, embed lived experience, and grow the reach and influence of these programs.
What your work will look like
- Leading and supporting a team of program leads through coaching, supervision, and capability building.
- Ensuring services are safe, compliant, high quality, and aligned to trauma-informed, person-centred practice.
- Translating strategic goals into meaningful operational plans that your team can get behind.
- Using outcomes data to measure impact and guide continuous improvement.
- Driving service innovation and co-design initiatives in collaboration with your peers and stakeholders.
- Building partnerships with funders, community leaders and sector organisations.
- Ensuring your team feels heard, supported and empowered to do great work every day.
- Travelling throughout the Perth Metro, Southwest and Great Southern regions to engage services and communities in the design and delivery of impactful initiatives.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who’s brave enough to lead with both vision and vulnerability. Someone who:
- Brings 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role leading multidisciplinary teams in mental health, outreach, or community settings.
- Knows how to deliver services within contractual, compliance and funding frameworks — without losing sight of the human behind the data.
- Is committed to recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care.
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with teams and external partners.
- Is culturally responsive, inclusive and curious — always asking: how can we do this better?
- Holds a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or a related field (lived/living experience is also deeply valued) or has significant industry experience relevant to the role.
What’s in it for you?
We know that talented people have options. Here’s why we think Richmind WA should be one of yours:
- You’ll make real impact. Your leadership will shape services that reach some of the most marginalised people in our communities — and support them on their recovery journey.
- You’ll grow. We’ll back your development with mentoring, reflective supervision, and real opportunities to take your leadership to the next level.
- You’ll be part of something bigger. We’re bold about our vision. You’ll be joining a team of people who are deeply committed to sector transformation — and to walking the talk.
- You’ll feel it. That sense of purpose. The trust. The people-first culture. It’s hard to describe — but you’ll know it when you’re here.
How to apply
We’d love to hear from you. Please submit:
- A current resume
- A cover letter (max. 2 pages) telling us why this role resonates with you, and how your experience aligns
