About the Company

We’re partnering with a successful, Australian-owned manufacturing business based in Brisbane’s inner north. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and people, they’re seeking an experienced Company Accountant to take ownership of the finance function in a standalone, hands-on role.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance/ Shared Services, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate reporting, maintaining standard costing, managing inventory and asset registers, and driving process improvements across finance and operations.

The Role

• Full-function accounting including month-end reporting, BAS, and journal entries
• Maintain and analyse standard costs, investigate variances, and prepare reporting
• Reconcile inventory and WIP to the general ledger, track and analyse movement
• Support procurement and operations to ensure accurate costing in BOMs and supplier pricing
• Maintain the fixed asset register and prepare intercompany charges
• Prepare monthly reports including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet

About You

You’re degree qualified, CPA or working towards, and bring strong experience in manufacturing accounting, especially around cost and inventory. You’re comfortable working independently, enjoy improving processes, and have strong Excel and ERP skills (Epicor a bonus).
