🚀 Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the integrity of the accounts of the consolidated group of companies
End of Month Close: Reconciliation of Balance Sheet & Key P&L accounts, complete management accounts ready for presentation, complete analytical review and communicate findings to GM of Finance and general accounting journals.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Maintaining and updating Forecasting & Budgets, Ownership of Departmental Financial & KPI Reporting, adhoc analysis and contribute to the development of new reporting, utilising the tools available within the business.
Accounts Receivable, Cash Flow Management and Statutory Reporting.
Additional responsibilities, when required, include Payroll relief when Payroll Officer is on leave, assisting in tender preparation and general accounts queries, bank reconciliations and disputes.

In December 2022, Aged Care Decisions was backed by growth focused private equity firm Fortitude Investment Partners (FIP). Since then, the business has continued to grow rapidly, whilst trying to ensure best practice in all areas of the business.
This role requires a proactive individual keen to work with growth focussed founders and the backing of a Private Equity Firm. The successful candidate will be actively hands on and will take day to day responsibility of the integrity of the accounts for the consolidated group of companies. This role reports directly to the General Manager of Finance.
📋 Requirements:
2+ years' accounting experience with generalised experience
Extensive experience with online accounting software - primarily Xero
Ability to structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes to improve efficiencies
Strong Modelling Skills, particularly in Excel
Passion for technology and for being a part of a fast growing company
Exceptional communication skills, highly organised, collaborative and details oriented
Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our clients reach their goals
Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a :can do" attitude
Industrius and self-motivated
High level of personal honesty and integrity
🤝 Relationships:
Internal: Work closely with GM of Finance, Finance team and Provider Growth team.
External: Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients and Private Equity Partners.
