FSP OZ Products Pty Ltd is a leading and growing polyethylene manufacturer with five branches across Australia. We supply high-quality, durable products to a diverse customer base locally and internationally. As our business continues to expand, we’re looking to strengthen our finance team with the addition of an Intermediate Accountant.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our head office team in Yatala. This is a full-time role suited to someone who enjoys variety in their work and is looking to further develop their accounting skills in a supportive and down-to-earth team environment.

In addition to core accounting tasks, this role may also involve processing payroll for 60–70 employees across multiple states, along with associated compliance tasks including superannuation, payroll tax, and workers’ compensation reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with monthly financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations

Preparing and processing journals, accruals, and prepayments

Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards

Processing payroll (60–70 employees) and managing payroll-related compliance

Preparing and lodging BAS/IAS, payroll tax, superannuation, and workers' compensation reports

Supporting budgeting and forecasting

Liaising with external accountants and auditors

Performing other general finance administration duties

Skills and Experience

2–4 years of accounting experience in a commercial environment

Previous experience with payroll processing (preferred)

Understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes

Experience with Xero, MYOB, or similar systems

Strong attention to detail and good time management

Confident communication skills and a team-first attitude

Progress toward CPA or CA (desirable but not essential)
