About the roles

The Department of Finance is seeking two self-motivated and experienced Technical Lead Delivery Managers (Contractors) to drive the complex technical components of a critical Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) program, GovAI, with the objective of increasing the adoption of AI across Australian Government.

Key duties and responsibilities

Actively engaging in hands-on efforts to plan and execute project deliverables

Engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, both technical and business focused.

Managing multiple technical operating environments

You will be supported by a small but growing team of technical team members.

Provide on the job training, mentoring and capability uplift to Finance Staff.

Due to the highly interactive nature of this role, the successful candidate must be Canberra based.

Criteria

Demonstrated understanding of AI policies and frameworks in government context

Demonstrated understanding and application of data security measures in the Government context

Experience and knowledge of proposed personnel to each technical component

Skills and training of the proposed personnel

Relevant experience in government AI projects
