The Opportunity

We are proactively seeking expressions of interest from experienced ICT Architects across Enterprise, Solution, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Data domains.

With many agencies preparing to initiate new projects and refresh their panels, this is an ideal time to register your interest ahead of the anticipated surge in ICT Architecture roles.

The Role

Roles will vary depending on the agency and project, but typical duties may include:

• Designing enterprise-wide technology roadmaps and architecture frameworks
• Developing high-level and detailed solution designs aligned to business and technical requirements
• Leading security architecture for infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with government frameworks (e.g., ISM, PSPF)
• Designing infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, hybrid)
• Leading data architecture initiatives, including data modelling, governance, and integration patterns
• Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with strategic outcomes
• Producing architecture documentation, diagrams, and recommendations for governance boards and technical teams

The Ideal Person

We want to hear from you if you have:

• Proven experience as an ICT Architect in one or more domains (Enterprise, Solution, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Data)
• A background working in complex ICT environments, preferably within the Federal Government sector
• Knowledge of government frameworks and standards (e.g., ISM, PSPF, TOGAF)
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, AWS/Azure Architect, or CISSP (for Security Architects)
• Australian Citizenship – many roles require Baseline, NV1, or NV2 security clearance

Salary / Rate

• $140/hr - $180/hr including Super
