Solution Architect – Strategic Defence Upgrade Project
***ACT only - NV2 clearance required***

Are you an experienced Solution Architect with a passion for delivering large-scale ICT infrastructure upgrades? Join a major technology transformation program supporting critical defence operations. This high-impact role is based in Canberra and will see you working closely with architects, engineers, and operations teams to deliver complex solutions aligned to strategic and tactical objectives. A current NV2 clearance is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Architect and act as second-in-command of the architecture team.
• Lead architectural design and implementation of platform and network upgrades.
• Engage stakeholders and participate in engineering reviews and governance processes.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with architecture standards and business objectives.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Solution Architect and 2+ years in Federal Government ICT projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proven ability to produce detailed, high-quality design artefacts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within ICT environments.
