Our client, a well funded Federal government department based in Canberra City, requires a senior Data Architect for a long term contract.

Responsibilities:

• understand the agency's data landscape from both business and technical perspectives. From a business standpoint, they will need to adopt an enterprise-wide view of the data domain.
• conduct research to understand the agency's requirements and business goals, designing data models that meet both current and future needs.
• map existing data models to future-state models to support the agency's Data Strategy.
• support security specialists in developing authentication and access models.
• coordinate user testing to evaluate the effectiveness of the data architecture.

Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in designing Data Solutions
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate the development of business processes to uplift and deliver new capabilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of Intel operating environments
