Seeking Bookkeeper in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne !

Key Responsibilities:

Bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero

Receipt and expense management across the business using Hubdoc

Preparing monthly profit & loss reports, and other financial summaries

Invoice management and preparation of payment runs for suppliers

Monitoring accounts payable and receivable

Assisting with cash flow forecasting and budget tracking

Liaising with accountants and ensuring compliance with ATO and regulatory standards

Maintaining accurate records for the business

Experience with multiple currencies in Xero

Requirements:

Strong experience using Xero and Hubdoc

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving

Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded):

Experience with payroll processing and superannuation

Familiarity with project/job costing and time-based billing

Confidence assisting with end-of-year preparation for tax returns

Understanding of business performance analysis (profitability tracking, margin analysis, etc.)

Experience in export industry

About You:

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or higher) preferred

Demonstrates discipline and a strong work ethic.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in IT and computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office.

A keen attitude with a can do personality

Must have a valid Victoria driver's license and own transportation.
