Woods & Co Recruitment are on the hunt for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a leading import business based in Oakleigh. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves taking ownership of the finance function in a tight-knit, supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and BAS preparation. This is a standalone finance role with great variety, flexibility, and stability in a well-established business.

• $75,000–$85,000 + Super (depending on experience)

What do you do?

• Manage all bookkeeping tasks using MYOB
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Bank, credit card and account reconciliations
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and superannuation
• Run weekly and monthly payroll
• Liaise with external accountants and suppliers
• General office support and admin as required

What do you need?

• 3+ years' bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in MYOB (or similar accounting software)
• A solid understanding of Australian tax compliance and payroll
• High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in a small business or trade-related environment is a bonus
