The role

Uconnex Community Services is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team (account receivable) in Rosanna, Victoria. This full-time position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

Managing accounts receivable and receivable processes

Chasing up overdue invoices with relevant stakeholders

Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments

Reconciling bank statements and maintaining general ledger

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Providing administrative support to the finance team

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting Clerk role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in using accounting software as Xero and other care software like Shiftcare

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (desirable)
