A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician who enjoys the flexibility of field work and thrives on solving problems in person. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work directly with clients across the Sydney metropolitan area.
My client is a leading supplier of IT and Security solutions and has a well known presence across the Australian market.
About the Role
This is a field-based Level 2 Technical Support position providing onsite support to a broad range of clients. You will deliver high-quality IT services including troubleshooting, diagnostics, installations, and escalation support.
You will be responsible for addressing incidents that cannot be resolved remotely—providing hands-on technical support, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
Troubleshoot network, software, and hardware issues across Windows environments
Conduct installations, system upgrades, and hardware rollouts
Work closely with Level 3 engineers and third-party vendors for complex escalations
Deliver clear, professional communication to clients at all levels
Accurately document issues, fixes, and infrastructure changes
About You
Current or recent experience in a Level 2 IT support or field technician role
Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
Comfortable working with ticketing systems and following ITIL-based processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
On Offer
Base salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum
Super at 11.5%
Car Allowance of $12k
Quarterly profit share bonus
