This role offers the chance to lead operations and tenancy management at a well-regarded sub-regional shopping centre located in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, with regular travel to a secondary asset in the western suburbs.

About the Role:

As Retail Manager, you will drive operational excellence and tenant engagement, ensuring a seamless shopping experience while supporting financial and growth objectives. This role will see you oversee the day-to-day management of a key asset in a hub portfolio, with one day per week dedicated to supporting another centre in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead tenant operations, lease compliance, and shopper experience enhancement at the primary sub-regional centre
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, P&L reporting, and initiatives to grow income streams
• Manage casual leasing and supplementary income, ensuring WHS and risk compliance
• Build strong relationships with tenants, retailers, contractors, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and success
• Implement tenant engagement and customer satisfaction programs to drive loyalty and performance
• Travel to the secondary asset in the western suburbs one day per week to provide operational support

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in shopping centre operations, administration, or marketing within retail property
• Open to retail area managers or candidates with strong retail management experience on the retailer side looking to transition into property management
• Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities independently with initiative and professionalism
• Current driver’s licence essential
• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, property or related fields preferred
