Are you a relationship-driven property professional with a flair for financials and a passion for retail? We’re seeking a Retail Commercial Manager to join a centre-based team and play a pivotal role in driving positive tenant relationships and improving rent collection performance across a diverse retail portfolio.

Reporting to the Regional Property Manager and working closely with the Centre Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for specialty tenant customers, ensuring consistent engagement and outcomes through empathy, resilience, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage rent collection and tenant accounts across a portfolio of shopping centres
• Drive on-time payment performance and reduce arrears through proactive engagement
• Support internal stakeholders with reporting, reconciliation, and financial compliance
• Lead conversations with tenants around debt resolution, direct debits, and payment plans
• Build strong customer partnerships that contribute to improved satisfaction (NPS)
• Contribute to budget delivery and income-generating initiatives

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in debt collection, preferably in retail property or banking
• A genuine ability to build rapport with tenants and influence outcomes
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with high attention to detail
• Confidence working across internal teams and representing brand values
• Resilience, initiative, and a passion for delivering results
• Tertiary qualifications in property, finance or a business-related discipline preferred
