Why we need you!
You’ll be our dedicated HR lead, owning the full employee lifecycle from Day-1 welcome packs to tricky ER/IR matters, while helping managers unlock the best in their teams. Recruitment will also sit with you; if sourcing funnels and interview scorecards aren’t yet your super-power, we’ll train and mentor you there.
What you’ll do:
- ER / IR Compliance: Interpret awards & the Fair Work Act, manage performance or misconduct matters, draft show-cause / warning letters, and keep all HR policies audit-ready.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Create smooth, repeatable processes: contracts, pre-start checklists, Day-1 agendas, exit interviews, and alumni feedback loops.
- People Partnering: Coach managers on 1-on-1s, PIPs, and career pathways; mediate conflicts early; run engagement surveys and turn insights into action plans.
- Recruitment: Own job briefs, advertising, and short-listing; upskill in advanced sourcing and interview techniques with our support.
- Culture & L&D : Lead pulse sessions, recognition programs, and an L&D calendar that keeps our A-players challenged and celebrated.
- Systems & Reporting: Power-user of our HRIS (Employment Hero); translate HR metrics into clear dashboards for leadership.
What you’ll bring!
- 2–3 + years HR generalist experience with solid ER/IR exposure.
- Proven track record running end-to-end onboarding/offboarding for a 30–100-person business.
- Confident drafter of contracts, policies and performance documentation.
- Strong communicator who balances empathy with commercial focus.
- Comfortable converting engagement or turnover data into clear action.
- Growth mindset and keen to level-up your recruitment with our guidance.
- Nice-to-haves: agency or tech-scale-up background • AHRI qualification • Employment Hero experience.

Salary
$80,000 to $110,000 Commensurate with experience
