Reporting to the General Manager, you'll work closely with the leadership team to drive strategic HR initiatives while managing the full employee lifecycle.

About the Role
This position is ideal for an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment. As the sole HR practitioner, you’ll be responsible for everything from policy development and compliance to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.

You’ll bring strategic insight, strong business acumen, and a practical mindset to support a high-performing culture and ensure HR systems and processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to performance and offboarding.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Provide trusted advice to senior leaders on employee relations, performance, and workforce planning.
• Drive staff engagement, capability development, and a strong values-led culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and workplace health and safety obligations.
• Generate meaningful HR data and insights to support strategic decisions.

About You

• Strong experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a standalone or senior capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian employment law, policies, and HR best practice.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills — confident advising senior leaders.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field (AHRI membership desirable).
