About the Role
As Gaming Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the gaming room and surrounding bar areas. You’ll lead, train, and support a high-performing team, ensuring compliance, safety, and premium customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of gaming attendants and supervisors
- Rostering (using Tanda), performance management, and hands-on support
- Ensuring compliance with Responsible Gambling, AML/CTF, and all gaming regulations
- Managing cash handling procedures, treasury, and reporting (including IGC, BOEN, ARMS)
- Liaising with Gaming Operations and Venue Management for strategic direction
- Overseeing promotions, merchandising, and customer engagement
- Troubleshooting machine and ancillary equipment issues and liaising with MAX/Green Triangle
- Ensuring all training, onboarding, and documentation are up to date and compliant.
About You
You are a confident and professional leader with a strong work ethic, a commitment to compliance, and the ability to lead a team by example. You’re enthusiastic, composed under pressure, and serious about service excellence.
You’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a gaming role with leadership experience (essential)
- Proven knowledge of gaming machine operations, compliance and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on and solutions-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and across a rotating 7-day roster (open and close shifts included)
Required Qualifications
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Responsible Person Badge (RP)
- RSG 1, 2 & 3 – All Gaming Certificates
- Food Handling Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
Highly Regarded:
- Mental Health First Aid
- TAB/Keno experience
- Hospitality or Leadership qualifications

- Full-time salaried role – Total Package from $94,000 (inclusive of base salary, superannuation, and benefits)
