Want to Own the Campaigns Behind A Global Coaching Company’s Events Division?
Are you a hands-on marketer with a proven track record of filling live events and obsessing over what makes campaigns convert?
Do you want to own the strategy behind 200+ workshops and summits a year — across Australia, New Zealand, the US, and Canada — and know your work is directly impacting the growth of hundreds of building companies?
If you’re looking for your next big opportunity…
The marketing team at The Professional Builder is leading the charge, helping elite residential builders grow smarter, systemise their business, and generate millions in extra profit — and we’re scaling fast.
We’re not talking about branding fluff or vanity metrics. This is real direct-response marketing with clear ROI: paid traffic, sharp funnels, and high-impact campaigns that deliver results.
And now, we’re looking for an Events Marketing Manager who can take the reins and lead our performance-driven campaign strategy to fill workshops around the world.
Our internal teams print testimonials daily, our events are a key growth engine, and we’re gearing up for our biggest year yet. But to take it to the next level — we need a world-class operator who can build campaigns, track numbers, and optimise like their results depend on it… because they do.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
This Opportunity is For You If You…
Have experience running marketing for in-person workshops, roadshows, or seminars.
Can manage multiple events at once and stay calm under pressure.
Love performance marketing and live for testing, tweaking and improving campaigns.
Know how to lead a performance campaign from strategy through to execution - even if you're not the one pushing the buttons on every ad platform.
Take ownership of your numbers and don’t need hand-holding to hit goals.
Are excited to work in a high-performance team that values speed, results, and autonomy.
This Role Probably Isn’t Right If…
You need a big team to delegate to.
You’re still learning the ropes of performance marketing.
You prefer stability over scale.
You struggle to manage multiple moving pieces at once or get flustered under time pressure.
You need constant feedback or daily check-ins to stay on track.
You dislike tracking numbers, analysing campaign performance, or tweaking systems.
You aren’t comfortable taking ownership when results fall short — and driving the fix.
You see SOPs and process documentation as annoying red tape rather than tools for leverage.
You prefer to be told exactly what to do, rather than figure it out and run with it.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
Filling rooms with qualified builders for 200+ live workshops and summits per year across AU/NZ and North America.
Owning the end-to-end campaign strategy across email, SMS, partnerships and more - working closely with our Media Buyer to execute and optimise our paid advertising strategy
Collaborating with the Events Lead, Creative Specialist and Media Buyer to build assets, launch campaigns and track performance.
Owning campaign results: Registration conversion rates, CPA, attendance, and post-event bookings.
Running localised split-tests to maximise response in different regions.
Maintaining and updating campaign SOPs so every launch runs smoother than the last.
Supporting the Events Lead with venue sourcing, shipping logistics and vendor comms where needed.
What Success Looks Like:
CPA & ROAS Targets Hit - Events are filled within budget and deliver strong downstream conversion.
High Attendance Rates - You’re consistently getting butts in seats, not just people registering.
Event Calendar Rolling Smoothly - Marketing is ready to go 6 weeks out, no last-minute chaos.
Systems & Process Improvement - You’re tightening SOPs, automating tasks, and making the system better every month.
Strong Internal Feedback - Sales and delivery teams give your events an 8.5+/10 for attendee quality and back-end conversions.
KPIs & Metrics You’ll Be Measured On
Cost Per Registration (CPA) - Own the campaign strategy and inputs that help hit CPA targets across paid and owned channels.
Registration Conversion Rate - Optimize landing pages and funnels to improve registration %.
Attendance Rate - Drive high show-up rates across all workshops (goal: >60% show-up rate).
Bookings Generated - Ensure events generate high-quality sales opportunities (measured by triages booked, sales calls held, and ROAS).
On-Time Launches - Ensure all marketing assets and campaigns are ready 6 weeks ahead of each event date.
Process Adherence & Improvement - Maintain and improve SOPs, reduce errors, and increase campaign velocity quarter-on-quarter.
Internal Event Quality Score - Earn an 8.5+/10 rating from internal sales and delivery teams based on lead quality and event execution.
Those Who Thrive at TPB Are...
Critical Thinkers - You bring ideas and solutions.
Coachable Operators - You take feedback onboard and constantly raise your standards.
Performance-Focused - You don’t confuse activity with results.
Team Players - You push hard, support others, and celebrate wins as a group.
Ownership-Minded - You act like it’s your business, because we all win together.
Bias-for-Action Types - You don’t wait to be told - you make decisions, move fast, and course-correct as needed.
