Title: Wedding and Event Coordinator

Primary Purpose

The Wedding & Event Coordinator works closely with and directly reports to the Hospitality Operations Manager. This position is responsible for the successful planning, supervision and management of weddings and events to the highest of standards. The role requires great communication skills, attention to detail with all aspects of the event and strong time management. Directing and motivating staff to ensure the customer experience is nothing short of exceptional, is what we do and what we expect.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced, professional and self-motivated Wedding & Event Coordinator to join our team, plan and oversee functions and events. We are almost fully booked for the next 12 months with events; weddings, corporate dinners, private celebrations and our famous A Day On The Green concerts. This role provides the opportunity to develop and progress your career in the hospitality industry.

The successful applicant will be required to work closely with the Hospitality Operations Manager and other Event Coordinators, along with our kitchen and front of house teams. A strong emphasis on client liaison and planning, good communication, and the ability to execute first class events and experiences to conclusion. The successful applicant will ideally have managed people and can show a love of events and hospitality.

You will require a minimum of 2 years' experience in a true hospitality role, have a professional outlook, great work ethic, be self-motivated, well-spoken and presented and hold a current RSA certificate. Evenings and weekends are essential.
