We’ve become synonymous with premium experiences, special occasions and industry leading guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our small but mighty team of dedicated hospitality professionals as a Reservations and Events Coordinator.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role reports to the Head of Reservations and Events. The role's primary responsibilities include coordinating reservations and events across multiple venues in Melbourne and Sydney. This includes sales, coordination and follow-up of events as well as overseeing reservation strategies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in high end venues, delivering outstanding and unique experiences in events and coordination, as well as experience working autonomously within a small, fast paced team.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to expand and grow in a fast-paced, exciting environment with numerous development opportunities available. The role operates from Monday to Friday and is based out of our Head Office in Collingwood.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end coordination, organisation and management of events program across multiple venues, including internal, external, private and corporate events utilising our events management platforms.
Communicating effectively with clients, venue staff and HQ team to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for all stakeholders.
Managing and updating all reservations and enquiries through our guest experience platform.
Handling incoming customer inquiries over the phone and email professionally and promptly.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of reservations and events.
Executing event sales strategies and achieving / exceeding sales targets
Assisting venue managers and management in developing new events and experience concepts that drive revenue and custom and elevate guest experiences.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Experience in relationship development and sales
Customer service-driven focus with a legitimate eagerness to satisfy guest’s needs
Friendly and professional phone manner and the ability to recall information quickly for clients and enquiries
Strong organisation and time management skills with close attention to detail
Excellent written communication skills, including emails and reporting
Ability to work autonomously while communicating with management and staff across multiple venues
Honest, open and transparent work ethic with a positive can-do attitude
A genuine passion for and previous experience in the hospitality industry
Experience using Seven Rooms, Tripleseat, and Google Suite will be looked upon highly.
