Part-Time Medical Receptionist – 3 Days a Week

We’re a small, community-focused GP clinic looking for a warm, reliable, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team 3 days a week (Mon, Thurs, Fri). In our close-knit environment, you’ll be more than just the first point of contact — you’ll help create a welcoming, calm space for our patients and support our doctor in delivering great care.

What We’re Looking For:

At least 2 years’ experience using Best Practice software

Dependable and punctual – your consistency keeps us running smoothly

Organised and professional – you manage details with care

Kind and approachable – our patients feel safe and respected

Discreet and respectful – you know when to listen and when to step back

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Welcoming patients and checking them in

Booking and managing appointments through Best Practice

Handling calls, messages, and follow-up tasks

Keeping patient records accurate and confidential

We’re looking for someone who brings a calm presence, communicates clearly, and takes pride in being part of a team that values patient relationships and quality care.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be reliable, quick-thinking, and calm under pressure. You’ll be managing bookings, navigating competing priorities, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining accurate patient records — all while being a warm and respectful presence for every person who comes through our door.
