As a Medical Receptionist at Active Health Portland, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our healthcare practice. Based in our Portland, VIC 3305 clinic, this role involves greeting patients and ensuring the smooth running of our front-of-house operations and potential to become a permanent part-time role.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Managing patient appointments and handling queries face to face and via telephone

Collecting and processing patient information, documents, data entry and processing payments.

Assisting with a range of administrative tasks to ensure reception can run efficiently.

What we're looking for:

It is desirable if the candidate has 2 years of previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail

Proficiency in using computer software and medical practice management systems

A friendly, professional, and empathetic approach to patient care
