Key Responsibilities:
Develop and support a team of psychologists and behaviour support practitioners.
Build a foundation of referrals for the relevant services.
Assist with and complete relevant marketing strategies.
Develop, build, and manage governance systems to ensure the smooth running of the organisation, as well as adherence to all legislation, standards, and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Provide psychology/ positive behaviour support services to NDIS participants in their homes, schools, and/or other community settings.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored PBS plans, and deliver interventions that promote positive outcomes.
Work autonomously, managing your own caseload and liaising with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
Build and implement efficient systems and processes to streamline service delivery, intake procedures, and administrative tasks.
Complete intake assessments and handle related administrative work alongside your clinical duties.
Lead and support a growing team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, guiding their professional development and ensuring high standards of care.
Drive the development of our PBS services, helping to shape policies, procedures, and best practices.
Gradually transition into a managerial role, overseeing team performance, reporting, and service delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working within the NDIS framework as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or above), with a focus on positive behaviour support.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse caseload.
Experience building systems and processes to support both clinical and administrative work.
Strong leadership skills and the ambition to take on a managerial role.
Eager, driven, and highly motivated, with the passion to grow and make a significant impact.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to best practices in Positive Behaviour Support and a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and Post-Graduate Degree in Psychology or other relevant Behaviour Support
PBS qualifications or relevant training.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
Driver’s license and willingness to work in a mobile role.
