We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to our ethics team, by actioning daily tasks required for the submission and approval of trial documents both through ethics committees and local site approval pathways. This will involve coordinating with internal staff and external stakeholders and being able to follow established internal guidelines and external public, government and private sector policies.
This role may also be required to provide reception and administrative services to patients, and support the Medical practitioners, nurses, research and other administration staff members.
Provide assistance to other shareholders of CRSA.
CRSA aims to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care for patients with cancer and requires staff that upholds the same values.
The main duties of the role include:
· Prepare, submit and coordinate submissions and approvals for new studies through external ethical committees and internal governance
· Review and amend master consent forms in line with site specific templates and coordinate with external parties for approvals to submit.
· Prepare, submit and coordinate amendment submissions to ethics committees
· Filing of correspondence and other associated documents
· Filing of submissions and approvals
· Keep internal staff updated of the progress of submissions and approvals
· Booking patient appointments and other clinical reception requirements
Personal Abilities/Skills:
· Possess high level Interpersonal and organisational skills including the ability to foster good working relationships internally and externally with researchers and staff at all levels.
· Display attention to detail and accurate reporting of information.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively under limited direction, autonomously and collaboratively.
· Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
· Ability to prioritise and manage workload in order to meet agreed timelines and objectives
Experience:
· Proven experience in basic computing skills, including email and word processing.
· Experience in working with computerised patient medical record systems.
· Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting
