About us:

Jasara Constructions is an award winning company committed to quality and integrity in both residential and commercial construction and development. We specialise in Highrise residential developments, lowrise residential developments and commercial developments, and design and construct projects. We are looking for an ambitious, confident and focused Cadet Construction Manager to join the Team.

We have experienced significant growth within the past 12 months and now require an assistant for our Construction Managers.

About the role:

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. You will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes.

You will gain broad exposure to design and construct systems, and associated disciplines, procedures and controls onsite.

This will involve supporting our Project Engineers and Site Managers in coordinating and monitoring site activities and subcontractors and suppliers onsite, developing and maintaining construction programmes and schedules, procurement and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, manage, and deliver construction projects on time and within budget

· Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and all project stakeholders

· Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets

· Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

· Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met

· Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings

· Prepare project reports, forecasts, and documentation

· Identify and resolve issues or delays affecting project delivery

Skills and experience:

· Proven experience (2+ years) as a Construction Project Manager in residential/commercial construction

· Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations

· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

· Current White Card and valid driver’s licence

· A Bachelor's or Master's student - minimum second year - from the following disciplines: Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering (Civil, Structural) or similar

· Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to problem solve

· Collaborative nature, with the ability to form strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

· Passionate about delivering customer focused quality, leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which we operate

· Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

· To make the most of your cadetship and obtain maximum exposure to how a construction project is delivered, we require Cadets to commit to working a minimum of 4-5 days per week and we will provide flexibility around your study requirements aligned to this
