Austar is a property fund manager and currently manages about $800m portfolio. We are building a portfolio of NDIS SDA properties across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. We have significant growth plans and are targeting the completion of 300 homes in the next 5 years. Dwelling will be Class 3 single storey residential homes. We are seeking a dedicated person to manage development approvals, construction, and post construction activities.

Duties

Managing the whole life cycle of development, from Initial site assessment, DA, construction and completion.

Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including outsourced PMs, architects, engineers, town planners and builders.

Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, ensure milestones and performance indicators are met.

Contract administration support, including processing claims, variations, and contract close-out.

Providing monthly portfolio updates on construction progress, financial tracking, and defect management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

1–3 years’ experience in a project coordination, Contracts Administrator or assistant PM role within construction, development or consultancy

Proficient in the use of project management software and tools

Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
