About the Role
At Desh Constructions Pty Ltd, the Construction Project Manager will play a vital role in delivering successful projects. He/she will expertly plan, organise and oversee the construction of residential, commercial and engineering works—managing teams, timelines, and resources to ensure every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Desh Constructions Pty Ltd will rely on its Construction Project Manager as the driving force behind every successful project. From initial planning to final handover, they will oversee each stage to ensure every project is completed with exceptional quality, strict safety compliance and superior craftsmanship. The key duties and responsibilities of Construction Project Manager at our company include, but are not limited to, the following:
Interpret architectural drawings and detailed specifications to guide construction activities
Coordinate labour resources and manage the procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and plant
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, technical specialists, and trades personnel to ensure project alignment
Negotiate with building owners, developers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget
Oversee and manage the planning, execution and the closeout stages of a project
Oversee and manage the suppliers, subcontractors and the on-site staffs efficiently
Prepare detailed tenders and contract bids to secure project approvals
Develop and implement coordinated work schedules to efficiently manage construction sites
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Submit necessary plans and documentation to local authorities for approval and permits
Execute building works under contract or manage subcontracting of specialised construction services
Monitor and supervise subcontractors’ work to maintain quality and progress
Arrange and coordinate building inspections with local regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Australian construction codes and safety standards.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies and legal regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
