About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our clients team in South Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive consulting experience who can bridge the gap between business needs and Salesforce technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into Salesforce solutions
• Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce implementations
• Create and maintain project documentation, including process flows, user journeys, and solution designs
• Perform gap analysis between current and future state business processes
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper implementation of business requirements
• Provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities
• Validate solutions through user acceptance testing and quality assurance
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively
• Support change management initiatives and user adoption strategies
• Mentor junior business analysts and provide knowledge transfer to team members

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on Salesforce implementations
• Strong consulting background with experience working across multiple client engagements
• Deep understanding of Salesforce core platforms, including
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or other advanced Salesforce products
• Proficiency in documenting complex business processes and translating them into technical requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) *highly regarded*
• Experience with integration between Salesforce and other enterprise systems

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning development
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools
• Change management certification or experience
• Business process reengineering experience
• Experience with requirements management tools
