Join Our Team as a Medical Receptionist – Casual or Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly team member to join our busy and supportive general practice.

To be considered, applicants must have previous experience in a medical receptionist role.

About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. You will be working alongside a professional and caring team, providing front-line support and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming patients and managing front desk reception

Booking and managing appointments with BP (Best Practice software)

Handling patient enquiries with care and efficiency

Billing and processing Medicare/private fees

General administrative duties and support

Essential Experience:

Minimum 12 months in a medical reception

Knowledge of medical billing procedures

Experience using Best Practice software

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong computer literacy and confidence with digital systems

Ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure

Familiarity with medical industry protocols

File management and archiving experience

Friendly, well-mannered, and customer service-oriented

Confident working independently and collaboratively in a team

Shows initiative and a strong work ethic
