The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Systems Administrator to join a crucial team. The position is varied and hands-on, supporting the seamless operation of financial systems and contributing to project based work. You’ll act as a vital link between Finance and Technology, helping the business optimise its financial systems and reporting capabilities.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, examples of key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day performance and reliability of finance systems
• Administering user access and maintaining system security
• Troubleshooting issues and managing escalations with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Coordinating testing cycles for upgrades, patches, and new releases
• Creating and maintaining process documentation and training guides
• Collaborating with Finance, Technology, and other business units to understand system needs and deliver enhancements
• Analysing data and system usage to identify improvement opportunities
• Playing an active role in projects, including the migration to cloud-based systems

The Expertise

• Experience in a finance or systems role within a professional services setting
• Elite 3E, Elite Enterprise or Aderant would be highly regarded
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including data interpretation
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across finance and technology teams
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server and cloud-based technologies
• A team player with a growth mindset and interest in continuous learning
