About us
Toperformance Products (KONI Australia), a division of the BAPCOR Pty Ltd group, is the exclusive Australian importer of KONI shock absorbers — a globally recognised brand renowned for its exceptional quality, innovative design, and long-lasting performance. Since the 1940s, KONI has been manufacturing premium telescopic shock absorbers for a wide range of applications, including passenger vehicles, 4WDs, buses, motorhomes, trucks, trailers, and various motorsport disciplines.
The Toperformance distribution network operates through two centrally located warehouses in Victoria, supplying a comprehensive range of stockists across Australia. Administrative operations are conducted from our offices in Mt Waverley and Springvale. Springvale also houses our research and development and special orders facility.
About the role
This position involves representing and promoting Toperformance's products and services to various stakeholders across the automotive & commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain regular customer engagement through structured call cycles, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
Manage and update customer databases, including detailed contact and profile information.
Consistently achieve individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined by management.
Provide regular activity, performance, and opportunity reports to the National Manager.
Engage with customers regarding credit, warranty, and policy-related matters.
Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic sales and promotional initiatives.
Offer insights and feedback to management and product teams to support continuous improvement and future growth opportunities.
Foster long-term relationships with current and prospective clients by understanding their evolving needs and offering tailored product and service solutions.
Deliver product training and support to customers on an ongoing basis.
Assist in the planning and execution of events such as trade shows, automotive exhibitions, and industry conferences.
Conduct regular customer visits primarily across metropolitan and regional Victoria, with occasional interstate travel as required.
Work with the KONI and Toperformance product teams to identify, design and develop new products
About you
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
A history of sales representation in the automotive, commercial or industrial sectors.
An ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
Self-motivated with excellent work ethic.
A safe and clear driving record.
Having qualifications or a degree in related fields is beneficial, but not required.
Position includes a fully maintained motor vehicle, company phone and laptop. On the job, product training will be provided. Remuneration package commensurate with experience.
