About the role

Gemellini is looking for a new Head Chef to join our team. Highly anticipated role, which is rarely available, within a modern operated, fair restaurant group. We are looking for someone to take over the daily operations of our Nobby's venue. Must have previous experience of managing a team of chefs. Previous Italian cooking experience preferred but not essential. A 3-month transition period with the executive chef will be offered as a part of the on boarding. We are looking for someone who has a long-term commitment, good attitude and can balance other people's personalities from the top, growing their team to produce best professional service periods, in and out of the commercial setting.

Duties

Work closely with the executive chef and the other chefs managers to ensure smooth operation.
Lead and train the team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service.
Managing and coordinating all events and functions.
Handling guests requests and staff in a genuine and professional manner.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a similar Head Chef role.
Full working rights in Australia.
A calm and professional approach to their job.
Strong communication skills.
Incredible attention to detail and organisation skills.
Staff and customer service focused.
