Workforce Health Assessors (WHA) offer a range of occupational health screening services to support businesses screen and manage the ongoing health of their workforce. We specialise in pre-employment and ongoing health assessments and provide our clients with timely assessments to suit their health screening needs.
About the role:
As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for full-time and part-time Health Assessors to join our new premises in Southport, Queensland.
Health assessors utilise their skills in physical assessment to conduct pre-employment medicals and support candidates throughout the medical assessment process. In this role, you will:
Conduct face to face Pre-employment and Exit medicals which cover musculoskeletal and functional tests, hearing, vision, spirometry, and drug and alcohol screening.
Complete reports, provide recommendations around fitness for specified work roles and arrange additional testing.
Maintain room/equipment including santisation and hygiene requirements in line with protocols.
Participate in quality management projects as required.
Conduct general administration and reporting.
To be successful, you must possess the following essential requirements:
AHPRA Registration.
Current National Police Check.
Current Working with Vulnerable People Check.
You should also possess:
Exceptional people and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously over time.
A positive, professional disposition with a willingness to have a go.
Strong computer and systems skills, written skills and accuracy.
