The Brainy Bunch clinic is expanding and so is our team! We are looking for a caring and experienced Medical Administrator to join us on either a part-time or full-time basis, acting as the face of the practice and making all clients feel warmly welcomed.
Duties & responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors at reception and answer all incoming calls
Provide administrative support such as client bookings, managing emails, incoming referrals, and managing clinical billing software
Support the medical and allied health practitioners with the administrative tasks associated with their practice
Complete Medicare rebates and health fund claims
Identify system improvements where needed
Contribute to positive team culture, working closely alongside other administrative staff and clinical colleagues
Experience & attributes:
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical or allied health receptionist
Knowledge of Medicare, private health fund, and NDIS billing
Current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate is desirable
Familiarity with practice management software (Halaxy, Xestro, or similar) and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
A warm and caring approach to all patients, young and old
Keen attention to detail
