About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable medical typist / report writer to assist our specialist physicians with the generation of their reports. The ability to interpret doctors notes from consultations and prepare reports from existing templated letters and reports will be a key aspect of the role.

In the first instance, the successful candidate will be required to work in the Bourke Street clinic with two doctors each Friday with the balance of hours to be worked from home. All equipment will be provided.

About You

Our new team member will:

Have demonstrated experience in a similar role

Have a strong understanding of medical terminology

Have a minimum typing speed of 60wpm with high accuracy

Be responsive with excellent communication, organisation and time management skills

Have an excellent work ethic in the remote environment

Have a reasonable typing speed with a high degree of accuracy and grammar

Be honest and responsible, whilst respecting the confidentiality and privacy of patient information and records

Have the ability to interpret Doctors notes

The successful candidate must have the right to legally work in Australia
