Posted 22 days ago
Step into a role ideal for someone who takes pride in being highly organised, values building trusted relationships with patients, and enjoys ensuring every detail runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Women’s Obstetric and Gynaecology Specialists (WOGS) is expanding our team with the addition of a Medical Personal Assistant (MPA). This new role supports one specialist Obstetrician while also working collaboratively within our warm and highly skilled team of doctors, midwives, and admin professionals.
We’re based in Private Consulting Suites on Level 2 of Frances Perry House at the Women’s in Parkville, where we provide 24-hour consultant-led care with a personal touch. As our MPA, you will be the right-hand support to one of our specialists, ensuring every detail of patient care is smooth, considered, and handled with professionalism and compassion.
What makes this role special?
You’ll manage all aspects of one doctor’s day-to-day practice, including their schedule, patient coordination, correspondence, theatre bookings and billings.
You’ll be the key contact for patients, providing a calm, reassuring, and professional presence throughout their pregnancy journey.
You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems, and take ownership of tasks that make the doctor’s practice run like clockwork.
And you won’t be doing it alone, you’ll have the full support of the broader WOGS team.
