KYC Analyst – Institutional Banking

About the Role:
You will act as the case manager and first point of contact for all new client onboarding requests – covering both new clients and existing clients onboarding new products. This role involves managing the full KYC process from initial request through to being trade-ready, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies for corporate and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end KYC and onboarding processes for new clients and existing clients taking on new products, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs.
• Collect, verify, and analyse KYC, AML, and regulatory documentation, performing initial risk assessments including sanctions and PEP checks.
• Liaise closely with front office teams and offshore centres to gather onboarding requirements, close gaps, and coordinate seamless account setups.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders, including financial crime teams and senior business leaders, particularly for complex or high-risk cases.
• Manage escalations and ensure clear, timely communication with all relevant parties.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with audit and governance requirements.
• Support remediation efforts, data clean-up, and periodic KYC reviews.
• Drive continuous improvements in onboarding processes, policy implementation, and team training.

What You’ll Need:

• 3–5 years’ experience in an end-to-end KYC/onboarding role
• Proven experience with institutional or corporate banking onboarding (retail banking experience not considered)
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate issues as needed
• Experience working with diverse entity types and global market documentation

Contract Details:

• Initial 6-month contract with daily rate $350–$500 + Super, dependent on experience
• Immediate start available
• Hybrid Working, Sydney CBD
