About the Role

Join a high-impact transformation program focused on simplifying and merging legacy banking systems into a single, streamlined platform. You'll be part of a cross-functional team delivering key data migration and remediation activities, particularly across debit card product lines.

We're looking for a Data Migration Analyst / Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience, ideally within the banking or financial services space, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Partner with business, technology, and data teams to plan and execute data migration activities

Conduct source-to-target data mapping and SQL-based data validations

Perform data quality checks and lead remediation efforts as needed

Support debit card product migrations across multiple legacy systems

Work with tools such as Informatica and EDW to execute robust data pipelines

Understand and interpret banking product data (e.g., debit cards, customer data)

Manage and monitor ETL processes, troubleshooting as required

Communicate proactively with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues early

What You Bring

3-5 years' experience in Data Migration and/or Data Analysis

Strong skills in SQL - ability to write and optimize complex queries

Practical experience with Informatica, Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), or similar platforms

Knowledge of banking systems, product structures, and financial data

Demonstrated experience in data remediation, data quality checks, and ETL workflows

A proactive, extroverted mindset - confident engaging across teams and taking initiative

Contract Details

Daily Rate: $750 + Super

Duration: 9 months (with potential to extend)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Sydney-based | Hybrid work available
