StraightUp is seeking a Junior Automation Tester to join us in the early stages of a large-scale digital transformation for our Government client. This is an initial 6-12 month contract position with scope for further extensions. For this position we will be providing Baseline clearance for the successful candidate.

This position would be suitable for Junior OR Mid Level Automation Testers, or potentially IT Graduates with some Automation Testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare testing documentation including test strategies and test plans, test conditions and cases according to our client's System Delivery methodology (SDM)
• Conduct testing across different System Readiness test phases such as Systems Test, Systems Integration Test, Stress, Volume and Performance testing (SVP), UAT
• Raise and monitor defect resolution and release
• Produce relevant testing reports and test statistics as required

Qualifications and experience:

• A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.
• Automation Testing experience - use of relevant tooling
• Ability to work in an Agile (Scrum) project environment.
• Experience with CRM products such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce is highly advantageous but not essential

• Selenium engine with C#
• Azure DevOps
• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Playwright
• JMeter
• ReadyAPI
