What you'll do:
As a Treasury, Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable Officer, you will play an integral part in supporting daily transactional activities within a busy finance department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you managing invoice payments for multiple entities, performing accurate data entry and reconciliations, as well as overseeing both accounts payable and receivable functions. You will also be responsible for bookkeeping tasks using industry-standard software like MYOB. Working closely with colleagues across finance, compliance, investment partners, and banking relationships, you will help ensure that all processes run smoothly while maintaining robust internal controls. Your ability to document procedures and recommend process enhancements will contribute directly to the team's ongoing pursuit of excellence. By providing reliable administrative support to the Transaction Management Team and reporting directly to the Director of Fund Accounting, you will have every opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business outcomes while developing your own expertise in treasury operations.
- Process invoice payments efficiently and accurately across multiple entities while maintaining meticulous records for all transactions.
- Input data with precision and perform regular reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial information within the accounts payable function.
- Manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, supporting the wider finance team in delivering seamless transactional services.
- Undertake bookkeeping duties for various entities using accounting software such as MYOB, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and compliant with internal standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the Transaction Management Team, assisting with ad hoc tasks as required to maintain operational excellence.
- Liaise effectively with internal finance teams, compliance departments, investment partners, and relationship bankers to facilitate smooth transaction flows.
- Implement efficient processes and controls at all times to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance within treasury operations.
- Document existing procedures and proactively suggest improvements to enhance efficiency across all aspects of the accounts function.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, processes, and controls when handling sensitive financial data or executing payments.
- Support the Director of Fund Accounting by preparing reports or analysis as needed to inform decision-making within the Transaction Management Team.
