Davidson has proudly partnered with a leading financial service institution to assist them in sourcing a senior digital business analyst experienced in payments and/or cards.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of digital initiatives focused on Payments and/or Card services. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, and stakeholders to understand the business needs, shape digital journeys, and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities across the digital delivery lifecycle for Payments and/or Cards-related initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and user story grooming sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive gap analysis, process mapping (As-Is / To-Be), and solution assessments.
• Work with technical teams to validate solution design aligns with business objectives.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure test cases align with requirements and acceptance criteria.

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Digital and Technology projects, within banking and/or finance
• Strong domain knowledge and experience in Payments (e.g., NPP, BPAY, Direct Entry, SWIFT) and/or Cards (Issuing, Acquiring, Transaction Processing, Tokenisation).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Proven track record translating business requirements into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.
