About the Role:

INDEX Consultants has partnered with a Public Sector client to deliver a state-of-the-art digital healthcare solution. This project aims to enhance their cloud-first strategy and elevate sector-wide integration, prioritise data security and reliability. The Application Support Engineer will provide L2 and L3 support for applications and integration technologies within SLA expectations

Key Deliverables:

• Provide Application Support services in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Operate within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, supporting applications and integration technologies
• Work with stakeholders on development and documentation of policies and procedures for Application Environment management.
• Provide project and application support before/after implementation while meeting ongoing BAU support/operational requirements to ensure the application is proactively maintained meeting correct release version

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience providing L2/L3 application support
• Mandatory experience in a Healthcare AND/OR Public Sector environment
• Experience in providing both project and ongoing application support, with the ability to maintain applications proactively.
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework

Mandatory Experience

• Prior experience in Healthcare AND Public Sector
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must be based in Melbourne or willing to relocate
