Our client is a long standing and highly successful property developer, with a mixed property portfolio across the residential, office and retail sectors. With multiple new properties being built over the next 24 months, an urgent need exists for a highly experienced commercial leasing/property manager to oversee up to 100 properties

Key aspects of the role include:

Managing retail and commercial leases

Working with Town Planners, Certifiers, Legal consultants, statutory bodies and contractors

Ensuring that compliance is maintained

Conducting on-site expections, Gold Coast to Byron Bay, Mackay and Melbourne

Managing arrears, options, market reviews, lessee relationships, lease assignments and lease vacancies.

Working collaboratively with the design, marketing and accounts team

Management of staff (6 staff)

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years commercial property management experience must be able to manage a team. You should possess a current QLD Real Estate certificate/license, with an updated knowledge of relevant legislation (QLD and NSW) and a valid driver's license.

Critical to this role will be your understanding of lease agreements. We need a confident, strong communicator who can closely monitor renewal and review dates.

In addition to a generous salary package, you will also receive a car allowance and travel allowance when travelling. The owner is very hands on, which will allow you to be more effective in this role.

The maintenance for all the commercial properties will be facilitated by the Residential Property Manager. Occassional local/interstate travel will form part of the role.
