About This Opportunity
As the Technical Delivery Lead, you will provide technical leadership and coordinate the delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects, with a focus on communications networks and construction initiatives. You'll lead engineering teams, ensuring day-to-day tasks align with project plans, standards, and quality requirements. Your ability to communicate clearly, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative environment will be critical to successfully delivering solutions that enhance the University's IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and coordinate daily engineering tasks and resources to ensure alignment with project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor task progress, proactively resolve roadblocks, and escalate issues to maintain project momentum.
- Provide technical guidance and enforce standards to resolve technical challenges during project delivery.
- Maintain clear communication across teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

About You
- Bachelor's degree in information technology with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Broad knowledge of general computing concepts, including networking and IT infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage daily project activities and deliver outcomes on time and within scope.
- Experience leading engineering teams in technical project delivery within infrastructure and networking domains.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills applied in complex environments.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to mentor and provide operational direction.
- Organised and methodical engineering approach, ensuring attention to detail and efficient work processes.
- (Desirable) Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP), professional memberships (e.g., IEEE), and familiarity with project management and quality/service management methodologies.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.
