About the role
This a great opportunity for someone who likes a fast-paced environment and is very customer focused. Key duties include but will not limited to:
Assisting the PM with the day-to-day general operations
People management - leading a team of receptionists
Human resource management - rosters & time sheets
Performance management - ongoing professional development for reception staff
Debtor management
Patient complaints management
Medical records management
Student placement co-ordinator (be the first point of call for all students while in placement at the clinic)
Lodge all repair and maintenance jobs on Archibus and co-ordinate tradespersons when required
Full time hours required Monday to Friday - 38 hours. Shifts start 8am-4pm, however, can discuss flexibility for the right candidate.
About you
We are seeking an experienced General Practice Medical Receptionist who is flexible and a team player. To be successful, you will also demonstrate the following skills and experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position within a general practice – Is preferred
Experience using Best Practice software
Highly effective communication skills
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Exceptional leadership skills
Ability to multi task and prioritise
Understands attention to detail
Able to work well within a close-knit team environment
Able to work under pressure
