The Prop House Collective, Brisbane's Favourite Stylists for Christmas, is seeking an experienced “Project Manager” for a 6 month contract to lead a number of teams on large scale Christmas installations.

About the role

· Running the installation and dismantle of large-scale Christmas Decorations into large format retail centres and precincts in South East Queensland

· Manage and coordinate teams over multiple areas installing a variety of elements with numerous pieces of equipment (EWP, Forklift, etc)

· Liaise / communicate effectively with clients and internally with people from various departments

· Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, on budget and on time; including planning, development, installation and dismantle

· Manage all aspects of OH&S and ensure procedures are adhered to at all times while working on or off site

· Maintain a high standard for all projects installed, ensuring timeliness, staff effectiveness and COS% adhered to with all projects

· Conduct site inspections prior to, during install and post dismantle as directed

· Organise logistics; equipment, rigging and engineering requirements as per proposal

· Manage all preparation in line with the client proposal

· Work closely with the Sales & Design department

· Management of staff on site during installation & dismantle.

· Manage the recruitment, training and control of a significant seasonal casual workforce (specifically for Christmas team)

· Ensure the team adheres to strong, clearly defined systems implemented and attention to detail is paramount in all projects

· Scheduling / rostering of staff and ensuring accuracy of timesheets

· Provide updates & site photos of progress for all projects to Sales Manager & Director.

What we are looking for

· 5+ years of experience in a similar role (Christmas experience a must)

· Lateral thinker / problem solver with a positive attitude

· Expert in time management

· Fit and able to work extended / after-hours / varying shifts

· Ability to adhere to all WPHS guidelines

· Ability to manage staff effectively

· Current \ clean manual driver’s licence

Preferred qualifications / certificates:

· WPHS Certificate

· First Aid Certificate

· Riggers Licence (not essential)

· EWP Licences

· Forklift Licence (not essential)

This is a 6 month contract starting in August through to 31st January 2025
