Taxi-Trucks: We provide a range of Truck services within the metropolitan area ranging from small trucks to semi-trailer and B-doubles trucks.
Permanent Vehicles: We can design the operation of a dedicated fleet solution for any major business including vehicle branding so businesses don't have to purchase a vehicle and hire a driver.
Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new business opportunities that suit our specific business model. You will be required to source and develop new business opportunities for SDS Transport based around documented KPI’s of monthly new business trade.
This is a front-line position, which requires a high level of communication, professionalism, attention to detail and customer service to be applied consistently every day. Success in this position will be measured when sales targets (KPIs) are met, customer service satisfaction targets are met, and a safe workplace is actively demonstrated.
Reporting directly to the Directors, your proven expertise in solution selling will be pivotal to your success.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly revenue and profitability targets.
Strategically prospect, qualify, and acquire new business in alignment with target market profiles.
Onboard new clients and ensure seamless transition to the Account Management team.
Effectively manage time and priorities across all key sales tasks.
Meet activity and sales KPI targets.
Maintain accurate records within CRM and pipeline management tools.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience
Average Week
This is a hybrid role meaning you will typically spend 2 - 3 days (Mon, Wed & Fri) in the office contacting businesses (prospective clients) to schedule meetings for you to present our services (creating new sales opportunities), whilst also maintaining contact with your already won clients to maintain your portfolio (account management).
The remainder of your week is spent in the field presenting proposals to potential clients and visiting already won clients in your ever-growing portfolio, ensuring strong relationships are forged and you reach your annual budget for growth.

Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain successful client relationships
Knowledge of the transport and logistics industry
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Experience in creating and executing sales strategies
Must have Experience in taxi truck business;
