The Role

As the HR Officer, you’ll support the daily functions of the HR department, ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience while providing professional HR support to managers and staff during the maternity leave period.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers

· Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes

· Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

· Assist with performance review cycles and training coordination

· Manage employee queries and support HR policy interpretation

· Manage Workcover claims and cases

· Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects

· Assist managers with employee relations matters and offer advice

About You

· HR qualifications (e.g., diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field)

· Previous experience in a generalist HR role

· Strong understanding of HR legislation, policies, and best practices

· High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
